Assisting you to delve deeper into your sweet place

So we’ve gone into the earth, the roots of Muladhara Chakra to plant seeds in the stillness and the solidity to  help create structure and a fortified container to evolve from…Now we move, quite literally, from earth to water, solid to liquid, stillness to pulsating movement. These mini weekly sadhanas are the fertilisers and the practices are the water that nurtures the seeds of your intentions to grow….and this week Svadhisthana’s element is water so truly does begin to water your seeds…

SvadhisthanaChakra-300x300Svadhisthana Chakra is the 2nd chakra and usually translated as “one’s own abode” coming from the root of Sva meaning one’s own. Also the root Svad means “sweetness” or ” to taste with pleasure” this is all what svadhisthana is all about…. when you plant your seeds and water them well the the fruit is west and opening this chakra is to taste the sweet waters of pleasure and drink in the divine as you flow in the river of life… Svadhisthana’s element is water, its colour orange, the 6 petals of this lotus home is lower abdomen, genitals and womb. I like to think that as I reside in this chakra or bring my awareness here, I am at the womb of the temple of my body…this centre of creativity, sexuality, sensuality, pleasure, emotions in a smooth, fluid, evocative, sacred wave in the waters of life that undulate and rock and sway…

Svadhisthana Chakra is about connection, how you relate t yourself and to others. Everything in life is held in a relationship, perhaps the think beyond the intimate relationships, or family relationship and ponder the relationship of how your body and mind, your hear hand soul relate to your thoughts, your feelings… the affirmation for the chakra are:

I feel ~ I flow ~ I create ~ I connect

the self reflection for this centre invites you into the flow of your life… ॐ How do you move in life? ॐ What do you need for pleasure? ॐ how do you receive pleasure? ॐ how do you relate to others? ॐ how do you let people into your flow? ॐ what are you passionate about? ॐ how do you express your creativity? Every one of us thrive on pleasure, yet all to often this is forgotten or put on a lower priority due to a fast pace life, ironically this is when your body is yearning for more pleasure to cope! Women especially respond and heal when receiving pleasure and so svadhisthana is your invitation to court your senses more, see more, feel more deeply, touch like its the first ever caress, smell all the fragrances that surround you taste every delicious morsel of life. this week is my invitation to you to truly drink in the divine with your whole being. Svadhisthana Chakra is receptive, like the feminine womb, water its element is also receptive, adopting different shapes of that which it permeates, encouraging a sweet ebb and flow of movement, of breath and of life. Svadhisthana is connected to the moon, having a crescent moon within it. Moon-300x165Women’s menstrual cycle is mirrored in the cycle of the moon too with both naturally being 28 days. as life’s synchronicity would have it 🙂 it is a Full Moon this week as we honour the svadhisthana sadhana. the Moon has a great affect on the tides, our desires and our passions and is often heightened at the full moon. the mysterious, unseen feminine nature of the moon, the womb draws us in to feel, create, receive, and sense this helps create a power to move deeply from our own place…we are all born of a womb and return here metaphorically to be nurtured. For womeMoon-300x165n Svadhisthana sadhana is a time to check in.. svadhisthana resides at the area of your womb and the sacrum. Sacrum comes from the latin root “sacred”, so this week as we go towards the full moon and cultivate a creative savadhisthana sadhana, honour your menstrual cycle, truly take time to listen, move attentively to feel from this sacred sex centre…only receive in a sacred way did you join me and create a sankalpa for the next 7 weeks? I do hope so, for it plants the intention with the Universe and these beautiful vortexes of the chakras are the portal for the inner and outer worlds. How can you expect your life to grow, evolve or for your dreams, desires, all words for sankalpa, to come to fruition if you do not commune with the Divine, the Source in the Universe? now is a perfect time to truly look within for a sankalpa, a seed of your deepest desire and plant it in the womb of svadhisthana and let the practice water it sweetly…

ebb & flow this week…

So for everyone this week may the sacred waters penetrate beneath the surface and touch you deeply, heal you, caress you and cleanse you; May you drink in the divine in every moment thus creating more buoyancy in your life to feel and give unconditionally the pleasure we all so seek. I am inviting you to move from your own place sooooo sweetly, that you open up creatively, so the fountain of inner wisdom overflows into the river of life, yours merges with the deep seas of awareness drawing you to dive deep in the ocean of consciousness. the One becomes many so through the sadhana the many merge back to the Oneness… with sweet love I bow Michelle x
